So I have heard about people being paid to take surveys, but just figured that was an internet myth. So when I was told about Opinion Outpost, I was skeptical. For the past month I have been taking surveys with them, and I have made (and received) over $60. Each survey you are invited to take is assigned a point value that converts to $$$ amounts. 20 points = $2, 10 points = $1.... 35 points = $3.50, you see where I am going here. Once you reach 50 points ($5) you can request a check. I have been mailed (and cashed) two checks so far....so I am happy to report that not only is it legit, it's easy!
Now not everyone qualifies for every survey, but it's worth a shot taking it while you are watching TV or chatting online. Each survey starts with questions to determine if you qualify (I qualify for about 1/2 the ones I am sent). ALSO - it's exciting to see your opinion put in action, I just saw a cell phone commercial a couple days ago that I was asked my opinion on a month ago! =)
